The Problem
Two-story Flushing co-op had a center-room light fixture but no fan-rated box and no separate switch leg. Owner wanted a quiet bedroom fan with a wall control.
Our Solution
Pulled the old box, installed a fan-rated old-work brace box, fished a 14/3 cable down to a new dual-rocker switch (light + fan speeds), and hung a Hunter Dempsey 44" fan balanced for flicker-free operation.
